A New Ratings System

So, as I get ready to write my review for Rambo, which is four weeks overdue, I thought to myself,"I don't really have an effective ratings system that anyone could follow.  How could I fix that?"  So as I sat there pondering a new ratings system it suddenly popped in my head, "How about a set of graphics that illustrate my feelings on movies".  What better way to do that than using pictures of my dog, after all, she is this blog's mascot.  So I scoured the files on my computer, the endless abyss of computer files that I once organized many hours ago, I came across various pictures depicting many moods of my dog, Mia.   Ranging from bored and tired to happy and giddy, I immediately opened Photoshop and began cutting and pasting as if I were back in Kindergarten.

So to turn a two hour process short, I created something that looks great, appends well to the environment of the blog and has a sense of humor that bleeds off of every picture.  Without further ado here are the ten pictures for the ratings system:

One Half Dog:  I walked out of the theater to find something to do that wasn't so boring.  I went out to ask for my money back.  Reading the dictionary is a better experience.
One Dog: I managed to sit through the film but was checking my watch the entire time.  Not worth your time at all.

One and a Half Dogs:  The film had maybe one or two good things about it and that's it.  I checked at my phone more than the screen.  You should go see another film or just watch trailers on your computer.

Two Dogs: About one or two redeeming qualities about the film made it somewhat interesting but it's nothing to rave about.  It's not good nor terribly bad.  Enter at your own risk.

Two and a Half Dogs: The time my eyes spent on my phone and the screen was equal.  I wasn't quite hooked enough to be fully invested but a handful of tweaks could have made this film better.

Three Dogs:  Completely average and that made it enjoyable.  This is a film you should watch but only when it arrives on store shelves.

Three and a Half Dogs: This film was on a road to success but was riddled with a few errors to keep it from doing so.  You should go and see this film but you shouldn't rush.

Four Dogs: This is a great film and possibly could be quite memorable but a couple of things prevent it from doing so.  Maybe a bad actor, poor direction, story problems or something else.  Make time out of your schedule to see this.

Four and a Half Dogs:  A pleasant film going experience that should be worth your time.  Go and see this film immediately.  It isn't a perfect film and one thing is holding it back from achieving total greatness.

Five Dogs:  The Holy Grail of films is here and it should be cherished.  Go see this film now, own it on DVD and buy the merchandising.

I love this design and I just snicker and giggle when I see the 'Three Dogs' graphic.  I intend to use these graphics every time I do a review.  I hope you guys enjoy the new graphics and they induce humor.
