I love movies but I can’t seem to watch any classic film
because I get so hyped for that new release. So, taking a look at my Blu-ray collection, I noticed that I
have a ton of classic films that I have yet to see. Did you know I never completed the Star Wars films, the
first trilogy because I always thought the films were boring. I was a young dousche back then so sue
me. So for an experiment to help
boost my knowledge of classic film trivia, I have decided to watch and review
fifteen classic films before the end of the year. Theses films can be found on Netflix, Amazon Instant Video,
DVD and/or Blu-ray so they shouldn’t be too hard for me find.
I say I love movies but I find some excuse to not watch a
bunch of films because ‘I’m busy’.
With what? I don’t really have a social life except the one that fulfill
online with video games but that’s getting real boring, real fast. These fifteen films have come straight
from my Blu-ray collection as well as the Top 250 films on IMDb. Before I list the films I want to see,
I have seen 78 of the Top 250 films.
It’s not a bad start nor is it a great one. So here is the fifteen films that I want to see:
2.
Insomnia
3.
First Blood (Will treat the Rambo series as one
film)
4.
The Lord of The Rings (Will treat the LOTR
trilogy as one film. I fell asleep
watching the films years ago)
6.
Alien (Will treat Alien and Aliens as one film)
8.
The Godfather Part II (I don’t remember the film
much as I saw this film for a sixth grade project)
9.
The Man with No Name series
11. Chinatown
12. Annie Hall
13. Apocalypse Now
15. Vertigo
Those are the films that I will watch in the coming
months. Don’t mind the order that
these films are in, I will probably put out a schedule for when I begin
watching the films so that way you too can watch the films with me. If you have a film that you would like
to recommend to me, I would love to hear it.
